Our Women's Executive Forum serves as a testament to this commitment, bringing together some of the best and brightest minds in female executive leadership for a day of impactful discussions, networking opportunities, and celebration.
Building on our legacy of past events that have featured speakers including: Malala Yousafzai, Erika Ayers Badan, Holly Ridings, Sophia Bush, Shellye Archambeau, and others. We are honored to continue their tradition of excellence at this year's gathering.
Tina oversees all operational and creative areas of the network, reporting to OWN Chairwoman and CEO Oprah Winfrey and Warner Brothers Television Group Chairwoman and CEO Channing Dungey. Her leadership is a driving force behind the network’s ongoing evolution to become the leading destination for Black audiences. She also oversees OWN’s robust digital division including the network’s TVE Everywhere product, WatchOWN, award-winning website Oprah.com, flourishing podcast business, and OWN’s hub on Max–WBD’s direct-to-consumer streaming service. Perry is a champion of OWN’s social good initiatives including OWN’s award-winning, get-out-the-vote and registration campaign OWN Your Vote and OWN Your Health.
Perry serves on the OWN Board of Directors, as the Chairwoman of The Television Academy Foundation’s Board of Directors, The Paley Center for Media’s Los Angeles Board of Governors, the Board of Directors of The Friends of the Saban Community Clinic, and the Board of the Hollywood Radio and Television Society (HRTS).
Perry has received multiple honors and awards. Most recently in 2024, Perry received the Hirshhorn National Arts Award and the Cablefax’s 2024 Diversity & Pride Award and was made a Cynopsis 2024 Top Woman in Media honoree. In 2023 she received the AEG Women in Entertainment Honor, the Cynopsis’ Top Women in Media Award and the Women in Entertainment Inspirational Award. In 2022 she was inducted into the Cable Center’s Cable Hall of Fame and was selected for the Variety Inclusion Impact Report. Perry received the Stanton Award from The Center of Communication in 2021. In 2020, Multichannel News named Perry a “Wonder Woman.” She was honored with the Langston Bar and received the Women in Telecommunications LEA Award in 2019. Additionally, Perry has been named multiple times to the Cablefax Most Powerful Women, Cablefax 100, Cablefax Most Influential Minorities, and Cablefax Diversity lists.
Perry holds a Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School, a Master of Science in Comparative Social Policy from the University of Oxford and graduated with Honors from Stanford University
Moira Forbes is the Executive Vice President of Forbes, one of the world’s largest media brands, where she is responsible for driving new business initiatives across the company’s diverse media platforms and branding Forbes events worldwide. Today, Forbes, which is synonymous with “success” in almost every country around the world, engages 140 million people across every platform every month – the most in its 104-year history.
Moira also serves as the President and Publisher of ForbesWomen, a multi-media content channel dedicated to successful women in business and leadership which she founded in 2007. Moira oversees Forbes’ annual list of the World’s Most Powerful Women and the annual Power Women’s Summit which she launched in 2013.
Across Forbes’ global editorial platforms, Moira convenes preeminent thought leaders for timely perspective and analysis around today’s most critical issues. She hosts "Success with Moira Forbes," a Forbes interview series spotlighting dynamic changemakers and industry innovators as well as “The Takeaway,” a new Forbes simulcast series featuring how top minds are navigating these defining times and explores what’s ahead within their respective arenas.
Moira is a Governing Trustee of the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and serves on the Board of Trustees for the St. Andrews School. She currently lives in New York City with her two sons.
Alex Hardiman is the Chief Product Officer at The New York Times where she oversees the company’s News, Cooking, Games and Audio products that power The Times’s subscription and digital advertising businesses. She also leads The Times’s enterprise-wide approach to Generative AI.
Alex has dedicated her career to amplifying high quality, independent journalism through technology. Alex previously spent a decade at The Times in a number of leadership roles before leaving for Facebook in 2016 where she served as Head of News Products. She also spent a year at The Atlantic as their Chief Business and Product Officer where she relaunched the company’s consumer products and subscription business.
In addition to her role at The Times, Alex serves on the board of directors of Pearson. Alex holds a B.A. in Francophone Literature and History from Columbia University. She is also a graduating fellow of the Punch Sulzberger program at Columbia’s Graduate School of Journalism.
Jill Pemberton, is the Chief Financial Officer, North America, of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, New York, New York. Prior to joining LVMH, she was Senior Vice President at Viacom from July 2019 to February 2020. Previously, she held various leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson from September 2013 to June 2019 and The Kraft Heinz Company from September 2008 to June 2013.
Ms. Wardell brings her extensive senior leadership and global management experience to our Board.
Ms. Wardell is the former Executive Chairman of Adtalem Global Education, Inc. (Adtalem), a position she held from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that Ms. Wardell was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Adtalem from 2016 to 2021. From 2004 to 2016, Ms. Wardell was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for The RLJ Companies.
Ms. Wardell serves as a member of the boards of directors of Adtalem and Univar Solutions, a privately owned chemical distribution company. Ms. Wardell is currently a member of the Business Council and the Executive Leadership Council and a director of the Economic Club of Chicago. Previously, she served on the boards of Lowe’s Companies and G-lll Apparel Group, Ltd. Ms. Wardell received her Bachelor of Arts from Vassar College, her Juris Doctor from Stanford University and her Master of Business Administration from the University of Pennsylvania.
